Snap Cracker and pop

YAY-
If you know me, you know that I tend to say things that some might consider a little inappropriate. :P My boss asked me if I would come to work early the other day, and I said "sure, but what are you bringing me for breakfast?" I was totally joking, (ok, maybe somewhat joking) but she said "what do you want?" I tried to tell her that she didn't need to worry about it, it wasn't a big deal yada yada yada... Well guess what? She decreed that in fact it was a big deal, so this morning we (my whole office) are going to the Cracker Barrel! I am so excited! I get my morning fix of some good ol' fashioned grits! :)

So in future, maybe you SHOULD say what you are secretly think, it may be beneficial! :)

Ok... what?

So, I am driving home from work the other day, and had to stop because we were bumper to bumper on the freeway. So I am sitting there just listening to my music trying not to freak because it is hot and we are not moving, when something catches my eye.

I had to kinda stare at if for a second to figure out what exactly it was. About 5 cars ahead of me some guy is holding a sign out of his window. It was a piece of cardboard with "HANG UP YOUR PHONE AND DRIVE" written across the front of it, in what appeared to be Magic Marker.

I just kinda stared for a minute. I think the reaction he wanted was something like"way to go!" And all I could think was -maybe this was not the best way to get his message across. I mean he was physically holding this thing outside of his window while he was driving. And we were all on the freeway! How is this helping? Honestly? Is this really happening? Like isn't he totally defeating his purpose. Seriously, what if his arm gets tired? He has to switch hands? Does he do a cross over type of action? Then what? He has to bob his head around his arm so he can see, while he tries to steer. Not to mention if and or when we start to move. What will he do then? Quicky yank the sign back into his car to move? Or does he hold it out while he is driving? Then he has to fight to hold it upright against the wind as he drives? Then what? It rips from his hands and just so happens to land on the car in back of him?

I just had to then laugh. Come on! I appreciate your effort, but lets try and put a little more thought into something if you are trying to make a "statement" :)

Harry Potter Mania

Ok, ok.. so it is lame. Yes, I am one of those Harry Potter nerds! I have read the books once, and am now on my second time through. Can I just say, that it only gets better? Seriously. This is some good stuff! I am like trying to steal away every spare second I have to get a chapter in! What is this? This is madness! This is absurd! This is... Harry Potter! I make no excuses... it is what it is... and it is... good....

An ode to my sisters!

Hello all- We all know that Mothers day is right around the corner! I am at a loss as to what to get my mom, but as I meander through the mall, I keep coming across all these cute things I want to get for my sisters! This is not quite what I was hoping for! But alas I can't shake it. I keep thinking of how much I do love and appreciate them...
We sisters are quite the crew! We are shopping buddies, but our shopping is the DI, Savers, Garage Sales and the occasional Flea Market! We all THRIVE on getting a good deal! We all have very different personalities and quirks but when we get together people can tell we are sisters. Our idea of a good time is just sitting and chatting for a couple of hours. They are the first people I call when something goes wrong, but the last people I call when I just want someone to tell me what I want to hear. We do late Dairy Queen runs, camping trips, Project Runway marathons, Blog ideas, shopping, days at the park, BBQ's, holidays, and even pedicure parties ! I know that I am blessed with such sisters. Sure when we get together we all talk over each other and they might tell me my haircut is lame, but that is just makes them even more special to me! I love them all! I truly do! Thank you for being so awesome sisters! I am one lucky girl!

Disneyland!

Ok, so I am 23 years old, and I have NEVER been to Disneyland! This to me is border line child abuse! (sorry Mom tis true) I never go the pleasure of going to to what I have heard is in fact the happiest place on earth. Well in 18 days ( not that I am counting or anything) I get to go! I am seriously like a little kid on Christmas! I am so excited! Like super duper excited. Like almost (almost) pee your pants excited! My co-worker and I and her two friends are going to make the drive down on a Wed and be gone til Monday! That is like soooo long! I could cry! And I am freaking out because it is coming on so soon! I might actually cry when I meet the very pretty Aerial. She is my favorite... I think it is the hair or something....
